Trail Description: The Tahoe Rim Trail is a 165 mile hiking and equestrian trail surrounding Lake Tahoe. The TRT also has sections that allow mountain bikes. Amazing views of the surrounding mountains and of Lake Tahoe and other smaller surrounding lakes, wildflowers, deer, trees, rock formations, etc.
The Tahoe Rim Trail has back country camping along its length. Day rides from trail heads abound.
